This tour brought participants into the home of the Samsons, avid art collectors with an impressive collection with 40 to 50 works in their home alone. The couple moved to Singapore 18 years ago and since then, they have been collecting artworks from their Filipino heritage, and have recently been acquiring works from around the region. Building on their collection with the acquisition of pieces that appeal to both their tastes, the couple also builds an understanding of each other's aesthetic over time. The Samsons are interested in the stories of artists, and delight in opportunities to engage with them in conversations about their work as it informs their purchases, but also strengthens their relationship with artists as collectors.
